Semi Private Classes in Mindfulness & the Alexander Technique

Mediation and Wellness - Alexander Technique, New York City

In this  six week series, you will learn two powerful methods for working with stuck patterns of physical tension and stress. Through the Alexander Technique, we will explore fixation in the body, which could be manifesting as pain or stiffness. Through a simple meditation practice, we will take a look at fixation in the mind. Can we better deal with stress and anxiety by living less up in our head?

By utilizing both the AT and meditation, we will develop a set of skills for examining and transforming stuck patterns in our lives. Each class will consist of gentle hands-on guidance, experiential exercises, readings, and a short meditation session. This class is capped at THREE STUDENTS!

This class will take place over six Wednesdays starting on October 28. (Note: class will not be held on Wednesday, November 18). The class runs from 7 PM until 8:20 PM. No previous experience is required.
