How do I make lasting changes to my body and well-being? Whether you’re trying to improve your posture or change your relationship with technology, we all come up against difficult-to-change habits. The Alexander Technique offers a set of skills for transforming our relationship with our bodies. Rather than seeing our body as something we need to constantly ‘keep in line,’ we can learn how to shed habitual patterns that keep us tense, anxious, and living up in our head. The Alexander Technique is a century-old method for improving coordination, balance, and well-being.

In this four week workshop, participants will receive hands-on instruction, selected readings, and will participate in exercises to develop a natural upright posture and calm one’s nervous system.

Class includes one free private lesson.

Dan Cayer is a nationally certified Alexander Technique teacher committed to helping others find freedom from pain and create a sane relationship with their body. His own experience with the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of chronic pain inspires him to help others.
